He said only with the true guidance of gurus, we can achieve heights in the respective fields while struggling hard to earn perfectness in our skills. He also said our holy scriptures have placed the importance of Guru near to the almighty.
On this occasion, Dr. V. V. Ganbavle Head of the Department of Physics (Vocal), addressed the gathering and explained the role of a teacher in a student’s life. Also Miss. V. S. Dhobale, Miss. P. P. Bagwade, Mr. S.A. Kardile told their stories and memorable moments with their gurus. Students from the departments of physics also share their feeling and respect about their gurus on this occasion.
Teachers Day
To mark the great Teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Teachers Day was observed and celebrated at our D. K. A. S. C College, Ichalkaranji on 05 September 2017 at 2.00 p.m. at the classroom of third year physics students. Both the students and staff of College and Department of Physics gathered joyfully for the celebration.
The function was inaugurated with welcoming and giving roses to Dr. V. V. Ganbavle (Head department of physics), Dr. A. R. Nimbalkar and Mr. V. S. Pawar by third year students of physics department. The Dr. V. V. Ganbavlein his speech said that DKASC College, Ichalkaranji is known for imparting value education to the students. He also added that the significance of the function is to show respect to our Gurus who dispel darkness and ignorance around us. Teachers give light to students. They sacrifice their life for the upliftment of the students by imparting not only knowledge but also wisdom. Celebration of Rakshabandhan
The students of the department of Physics have organized event of Raksha Bandhan, dated on 25th August 2018Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. It serves as a symbol of their love, togetherness, and confidence in each other. The festival of Raksha Bandhan not only celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters, it also has a social significance. On this day, sisters of all ages tie a talisman, or amulet called the rakhi, around the wrists of their brothers, symbolically protecting them, receiving a gift in return, and traditionally investing the brothers with a share of the responsibility of their potential care. It underlines the notion that everybody should live in harmony and hence speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India that make our nation extraordinary.
The function was celebrated with full enthusiasm, zeal and gaiety by all T,Y,B,Sc. Students. For this function prof. Dr. V. V. Ganbavle, Head, Department of Physics, prof. Mrs. V.S. Dhobale, Mr. V.S. Pawar were present for the function. During this function all the girls of T.Y. B.Sc. tied rakhi’s on the wrists of T.Y. B.Sc. boys.
